Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will close registrations for 2nd clerical common exam on November 5 giving ample time for applicants to get ready for the d-day.

As said earlier, the mode of examination will be online – you need not shade circles in OMR sheets but would have click the correct answer for question displayed on computer screen.

The structure of question paper is same; have to attend 200 objective type questions in
5 sections for a total of 200 marks within 2 hours (120 minutes)

While each correct option fetches one mark, 0.25 shall be reduced for every wrong answer.There is no penalty if you choose to leave a question.

Since ms-office software is widely used in banks, checkout its features by working on it if possible.

Reasoning & Numerical ability: It would be better if you allot good amount of time in preparing for these 2 sections. The topics to cover shall include,

  • Venn diagrams

  • Work, Time, Speed & distance problems
  • Profit & loss, Ratios, Simple interest etc.,
Try practicing with as many problems possible for you to get acquainted with types, formulas & shortcuts.

Though common interviews shall be conducted for all qualifiers your CWE scores will carry maximum weightage in final selection
